The Love Day

We hope you had a fun loving Valentine's Day!

We had a great Valentine's day - which actually started the night before Valentine's with two fun visits!

Our first visitor was an anonymous one who left hearts on our door and goodies on our doorstep!  What a fun surprise!

Our second visitors were my cousin and his adorable girlfriend  (I set them up by-the-way)!  They brought us delicious cupcakes and we had a great visit!

Then, the LOVE DAY itself!  The night before I wait until Brandon hops in the shower and I get to work hiding treats and surprises with cheezy love notes around the house and in his car.
Some of Brandon's surprises - I love hearing him laugh as he finds each one in the morning.

And he sent me a dozen long stem roses and balloons!  So sweet!  He sure does spoil me, and I love every bit of it!

I've gotten to be quite the pro at bringing home a huge vase of flowers over the years, thanks to Brandon!
Me, my flowers, and yes holiday hair clips - my preschool kids love it. :-)
My valentine decorations - a "Love" sign I already had and my flowers!

Last year we started the tradition of making chocolate fondue on Valentine's Day - and I continued the tradition last night!  We wanted to start a fun tradition that we can carry on when we have kids some day!

Happy LOVE Day to you!  I hope you had a fun day!

Good Times

Brandon and I recently celebrated our 4th anniversary of our first date!  On our first date we went to a movie and out to eat, so on each anniversary of that date we go to dinner and a movie!  I love that Brandon plans this night for us!  We found this cowboy at our restaurant - glad I remembered to get a picture of the night!

And on Friday, my mom sister and me spent some girl time together in Salt Lake.  It was so nice to spend the day together shopping and talking! What a nice day!
We found some fun St. Pats stuff to try out!

We hope you have some Good Times yourself!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

What a super fun Christmas we had - we all got pretty spoiled!!  It was so nice to spend the day with family and all together!  We can't wait to have a little one of our own to spoil one day!  We hope you had a fun Christmas too!
My favorite Christmas Tradition: Brandon and I write love letters to each other, stick them in the tree and we read them Christmas morning.  Great way to start the day!
Our stockings were packed with all of our favorite things!!
We got a little relaxing in before we went to my parents' house for more fun!
Brandon got me a cool fish-eye lens for my phone - check out all of the presents at my parents' house!
Playing fun games with my nieces and nephews.
Playing around with a couple of my nephews and their toys

Another one of my favorite Christmas traditions is a day of shopping with Brandon a day or two after Christmas.  Look at all the yummy and crazy chocolate items we found while shopping! Crazy!  Oh, and the bacon chocolate is GROSS, trust me on this one! ;-)

And Happy New Year too!  We slept through the New Year - I ended up taking down all of our Christmas decorations that day, so while I was busy doing that we ordered take out and we were ready for bed by around 10:00 ... but we were able to have a lot of fun the day of!

My aunt's birthday is on New Years Day so my family went to 'Les Miserables' and out to eat to celebrate with her - fun day and awesome movie!

Wishing you the best 2013 ever!

Christmas Cards & Christmas Lights

Here are our Christmas Cards!

I also made this silly one of our dog Diesel just for fun.

Oh, and just before Christmas I went with family to Temple Square in Salt Lake to see the Christmas lights.  It was so fun and so cold and so beautiful!
